The Thermalution Heated Gloves Upgrade Set is for divers that already own a Thermalution Yellow heated undersuit but want to upgrade the standard 2.2Ah batteries that are supplied with the suit to larger 4.4Ah batteries. The kit includes the gloves with built-in controllers, Y-piece cabling to allow the suit and gloves to be powered at the same time and two 4.4Ah rechargeable batteries. As the batteries are designed to replace the existing 2.2Ah batteries, the kit does not include arm pouches.

The heated glove system is waterproof to 100m, making it suitable for all but the most extreme divers. The larger 4.4Ah batteries are expected to provide 150 to 210 minutes of heat time depending on intensity levels of both the suit and gloves.

Operating the gloves is really easy. Each glove has a 'pointer' at the base of the thumb and a 'receiver' on top of the wrist. Placing the pointer from one hand over the receiver of the other hand is all it takes. Holding it there for a three-second interval turns the heating elements on or off whilst a quick tap changes the power mode. The three power modes are acknowledged with a vibration sequence, once for low, twice for medium and three times for high.
